National Institute of Fashion Technology conducts entrance exams only once in a year for selecting the students for admission in both the Bachelor’s as well as Master’s Courses.

NIFT Application Form:
Candidates who like to pursue their course in the NIFT are mainly required to submit the duly filled in Application form; The application form will be available from 23rd October 2019 through online mode. Printed Application Form will not be acceptable by the NIFT. Candidates need to submit the application online by filling the details online. The candidate is mainly required to pay the sum of Rs. 5,000.00 for the Application fee. The duly filled application form needs to be checked thoroughly, and the candidate needs to take the print out for gaining any future reference. It is also important to preserve the proof of payment of application fees so that it could be useful for any future reference.

Entrance Exam Fee:
NIFT Application Fee for the Entrance Exam is Rs. 1,500.00 for the OBC category candidates and Rs.750.00 for SC, ST as well as physically handicapped individuals. NIFT Application Fee is mainly required to make through the Demand Draft, Credit Card, or Debit Card. Normally the DD mush is taken only in favor of “NIFT HO” payable in New Delhi.

NIFT 2020 Eligibility Criteria:
Normally, candidates who fulfill the requirement for the eligibility criteria could apply for the application form. The NIFT Eligibility 2020 for UG & PG programs are listed below so candidates are required to consider them
For UG Programmes:
For the nift 2020 UG Programmes, candidates need to be qualified Intermediate or equivalent examination from the recognized University or Board
- Candidate needs to complete 3 to 4 years of the Diploma Recognized by the State Board of Technical Education or AICTE.
- Candidates who like to appear for the final examination on the qualifying educational criteria will be eligible
- For General Category Maximum age limit – less than 23 years as on 1st October 2020.
- For candidates from ST, SC as well as physically handicapped candidates, Age relaxation will be 5 years acceptable.
For PG Programme:
- No age limit for PG Programme

Exam Mode And Date:
NIFT 2020 exam is conducted on 19th January 2020 (Offline) Mode
Type Of Questions Asked:
Question Paper mainly contains Multiple Choice Questions, as well as the number of questions, which would be varying based on the type of programs.
For B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, MFM entrance exams total duration will be 2 hours
For B.Des and M.Des entrance test, the total duration will be 2 hours
Exam Paper for the entrance examination mainly contains various syllables such as English Comprehension, Communication Ability, Quantitative Ability, Analytical, General Knowledge
- The question paper will only be in the English and Hindi

- No negative marking for the wrong answer
nift 2020 Admit Card will be provided only for the candidates who are eligible. The list will be displayed on the official website online. NIFT Admit card will not be distributed individually via courier or postcard. Normally, candidates need to download Admit Cards for carrying them to the exam hall.
NIFT Result 2020:
With the completion of the entrance examination, the NIFT Result 2020 will be announced only on the official website. The official date for the results will be announced soon. Candidates are required to access the online website and download the result upon its release as it is useful for the counseling.
NIFT 2020 counseling will start in the last week of April 2020, and the student’s list for the counseling will be displayed on the official website. The admission process will be based on the counseling, and relevant documents are required for verification/confirmation purposes.
